QualCheck Inspection Process
After researching county records to become familiar with the property, I'll make arrangements with the Real Estate Agent (if appropriate) to have access to the home. The inspection will require approximately three hours and I'll be making extensive notes and taking digital photographs.
Participation is encouraged! Clients are welcome to be present and accompany me on the entire inspection. On most occasions, however, clients and their real estate agents prefer to arrive toward the end of my inspection. We can then walk through the home together, and I’ll point out and explain any concerns found.
Of course, it’s not always possible for the client to be there at all. That’s why our reporting system is so beneficial.
Detailed, easy-to-read Report
Back at the office, I use web-based technology to prepare the report. It describes all aspects of the home, and is written in easy-to-understand terms. The report details areas of concern listing any problems discovered, and includes helpful pictures to illustrate the information provided. In addition, we also provide a Summary Report, which is a further listing of any deficiencies found, with recommendations. You can then use the Summary Report as a basis to request repairs.
